Siam University International Liaison Officer Miss Yhing Sawheny as a representative attended the 4th Global Meeting of Associations of Universities and other Higher Education Institutions (GMA IV organized by International Association of Universities (IAU) in partnership with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and five Indian Higher Education Institutions. New Delhi, India on behalf of Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit President of Siam University and IAU Administrative Board Members.
The theme: “Internationalization of Higher Education: New Players, New Approaches”, attracted the interest of many Heads of Associations of Universities. Gudrun Paulsdottir, President, European Association for International Education (EAIE), Francisco Marmolejo, Executive Director, Consortium for North American Higher Education Collaboration (CONAHEC), Molly Broad, President, American Council on Education (ACE), USA as well as Shri Kapil Sibal, Indian Minister of Human Resources Development participated as speakers. The meeting was well attended with over 70 representatives of Associations of Universities.
