Admission to the program is granted to persons with a master degree in Information Technology or Business or in a related field. Foundation courses will be required for students who have not passed the courses or the equivalents. Remedial work will also be required as pre-requisite of each doctoral-level elective course upon the consent of instructor.

The following items will be considered for admission: Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of at least 3.25 on a scale of 4.0 from an accredited institution or equivalent in master degree level or having related experience of more than 3 years TOEFL or English Entrance Examination

Selection Method

The Graduate Studies Committee will accept students for admission based on the following criteria:

An interview in English proficiency. Analytical ability in the field of Information Technology Graduate record Items Required for Applications Completed University application forms and identification.

ü Two copies of graduate transcripts or evidence of equivalent work.

ü Two letters of Reference.

ü Three 2-inch full front facial pictures while not wearing glasses or a hat.

ü Photo taken within 6 months of application date.

ü Two copies of applicant’s national identity card.

Final acceptance will be decided through the Graduate Studies Committee, Siam University.

The PhD in Information Technology in Business program includes a Dissertation only option plan (Plan A) and a Dissertation plus coursework option plan (Plan B).
